Name:
Location: a tiny town in the Olympics, Olympic Mountains Washington, United States

I am a woman in my middle fifties who is still married to the love of my life since 1969. We were married Valentines day 1970 in a small wedding in my parents home. On our journey together we have lived in many places, Spokane, where we went to college,Bremerton where we moved after college, Navy Yard city where we bought our first tiny house, East Bremerton where we built our second house in a subdivision, Silverdale where we built our third home which was to be our final home, Poulsbo where we lived in a tiny fifth wheel for a year after we moved all our belongings to South Dakota where we were supposed to be moving, a trailer park in Quilcene where we lived in a larger fifth wheel for 2 years while we were getting our little piece of land ready to move onto as per county codes where we now live and have lived very happily for almost 11 years. I have been many things over the years but mostly I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter and a loyal friend. I believe life is one giant cosmic song and all life are movements within the great symphony of the creator. I am a symphony with many movements and so dear friend are you.

Anam Cara on "The Well spring of love"

eileens-song
You can search far and wide for love. It is a great consolation to know that there is a well-spring of love within yourself. If you trust that this well-spring is there, you will then be able to invite it to awaken.....
When you have moments on your own... just focus on the well at the root of your soul....Feel with your visual imagination, the refreshing waters of that well gradually flowing up through the arid earth of the neglected side of your heart.... if you do this just before you sleep... then during the night you will be in a constant flow of enrichment and belonging.... when you awake.., there will be a lovely quiet happiness in your spirit.
One of the most precious things you should always preserve in a friendship and in love is your own difference....
Love is a force of light and nurture that liberates you to inhabit to the full your own difference. There should be no imitation of each other; no need to be defensive or protective in each other's presence.
Love should encourage and free you fully into your full potential.
Kahil Gibran says, " Let there be spaces in your togetherness. Let the winds of the heavens dance between you."

Hi Eileen, thanks for your comment on my blog! I wanted to tell you that I changed the link in your comment. The one you entered took us to a not-so-nice site. When you refer people to J.P. Durga they should go to www.jpdurga.com. Don't put in the periods after J and P.

How lucky are you to have a job like this! I'm looking forward to reading your blog.
