Senses are our threasholds
For far too long, much of humanity has believed that the divine is outside of us. This belief that our spirituality is without and not within has put a great strain on our longing and strain upon us as humanity. Longing has great wisdom and depth and causes us to look for divinity. When we focus that longing on a divinity outside ourselves, one that is faraway and possibly unreachable we overstrain our wise longing and cause it to become cynical, empty, angry, and full of negativity. If instead we focus that longing on knowing that the body is within the soul, and that our soul is divine ground, then the presence of divinity is completely here, close as our breath, instantly connected to our thought.
Our senses link us intimately with the divine that is within us and around us. When we tune into our senses we limber up our stiffened belief patterns and bring gentleness to our atrophied outlook. We warm and massage the feelings that are holding us captive, placing barriers that excile us from ourselves and others. We open the doorway that allows us access to the incredible harvest of spirit that is always gathering around and within us.
We are then fully awake and alive in the moment and intimately connected to spirit, able to hear divinity and be guided. It is then that our thoughts become prayers or praise and are instantly transmitted. We are connected to our power source and available to the divine.
Tune in to all your senses today, become available to your power source.
