Name:
Location: a tiny town in the Olympics, Olympic Mountains Washington, United States

I am a woman in my middle fifties who is still married to the love of my life since 1969. We were married Valentines day 1970 in a small wedding in my parents home. On our journey together we have lived in many places, Spokane, where we went to college,Bremerton where we moved after college, Navy Yard city where we bought our first tiny house, East Bremerton where we built our second house in a subdivision, Silverdale where we built our third home which was to be our final home, Poulsbo where we lived in a tiny fifth wheel for a year after we moved all our belongings to South Dakota where we were supposed to be moving, a trailer park in Quilcene where we lived in a larger fifth wheel for 2 years while we were getting our little piece of land ready to move onto as per county codes where we now live and have lived very happily for almost 11 years. I have been many things over the years but mostly I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter and a loyal friend. I believe life is one giant cosmic song and all life are movements within the great symphony of the creator. I am a symphony with many movements and so dear friend are you.

My oh My how time flies.

It has been a while since I did any blogging. My employment situation has changed so I have a little free time once again to have some fun with this.
I am starting a new chapter in my life story and my Spirit Bears are the center stage of my plans. I am beginning to develope a plan to bring my spirit bears into the public eye. I am calling it "Spirit Bear Project." In my plans are ideas incorporsting a % donation in the project to go to help families with children who are undergoing cancer treatments. This is as far as I have been able to plan so far but it is developing into a big dream for good things to happen. Look for more as I get the plans into gear.

What an amazing week! Everything is suddenly bursting into bloom! My camera is working overtime just to keep up. I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR! When my daughter and her family were here just one month ago none of this stuff was opened up. The fragrance wafting in my windows is intoxicating with all the fragrant things suddenly competing for the attention of the birds and bees. The humming birds have not been to the feeders all week because there is so much other stuff to feast upon. The baby birds are hatching and I hear their cries for food as I go about my daily chores. The wood peckers of all varieties are pounding out their drum songs and crying out their rauchous love serenades right along with the male peacocks who are shouting out Help Me! Help Me !and showing their georgeous fans to any female poultry variety who might be in the vacinity. They are so comical trying to entice the chickens who could not care less! Our favorite song birds are back adding their notes to the symphony. Morning song is a joy and transports me into rapture as I begin my day with a cuppa out in the yard. Here are some of todays shutter actions to enjoy. I have enjoyed taking them. Have a blessed day!

Seren visits Grammie and Grampa April 2006,
We have had a week of fun and frollicing with our grandson. Seren is almost 2 and talking up a storm. We have to be careful what we say as he is a parrot and repeats what we say sometimes with hilarious effect. It only took us a few hours to learn his language and comunicate with him as he still has a very different way of pronouncing his words. Might be the mid west wisconsin nasal accent creeping in. Any way what a joy he is! We also had a wonderful visit with his parents too. This year they did not all arive here sick so we were able to have more fun. We went to the park at Port Townsend and played at the beach too. Went for lots of walks around Grammies property and got to know a few of grammies chickens. Michael got to learn how to clean up in the chicken yard and helped me move one of the chicken tractors. We also had a day of blessing as we had a group of guests in and an Elder from one of our local tribes came and performed a blessing here to dedicate our land to healing. The ceremony was wonderful and we had a feast later.
When it came time for Seren and his parents to return to Wisconsin we had a wonderful ride over to Seattle on the Ferry and really enjoyed the remainder of uor time together. They arrived safely home on Wednesday afternoon and called to tell us how their trip went.
The house is sooo very quiet all of a sudden. I miss them too much and the visit seemed way too short.
I have posted some photos below and will post some more in the coming days as I unwind all of the activities we did together. Enjoy.
AHO All My Relations!
